Summer is right around the corner which means it’s time to start planning your engagement photo session!
Duluth, Minnesota is a beautiful city that offers multiple picturesque locations that you should utilize for your upcoming engagement photos. I’m a firm believer in choosing a location for your engagement photos that reflects you and your fiancé’s relationship while also making you two comfortable throughout the photo session.
Here are my three favorite locations for your Duluth, Minnesota engagement session:
Park Point Beach
You’ll find Park Point Beach right on the shores of Lake Superior! This beautiful location is perfect if you are looking to include the lake shore in your engagement photo backdrop, and we often have extra fun by jumping into the lake at the end of your session. The park area not only boasts beautiful sandy shores, there are also many grassy and wooded areas to utilize which offers more variety in your engagement photos while not having to travel too far!
Enger Tower Park
This park offers breathtaking panoramic views of both Duluth and Lake Superior. It’s a large space with many diverse locations which allows for more variety in your engagement photos! The park also has beautiful landscaping throughout the spring, summer, and fall months.
Canal Park
Canal Park is the perfect Duluth, MN location to have your engagement photo session if you’re wanting something more urban and interactive! It is so easy to move throughout Canal Park during your engagement session. I will often start with couples on the canal in front of the Aerial Lift Bridge! Then we usually move further in to the park where we can stop at either Love Creamery (the most delicious ice cream shop in Duluth), or Caribou Coffee – whichever the couple wants! This allows us to get some fun interactive photos of you at the shops and enjoying Canal Park during your engagement photo session.
